IDSAI stands for Innovation Dreams Strategic AI, a Kansas City consultancy that helps small businesses get found and recommended by AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Who this is for. Contractors and trades, reality capture and surveying firms, medical and dental practices, home service businesses, law and accounting practices, restaurants and retail, real estate agents and brokerages, and independent artists and creators. Owner operated businesses in the Kansas City metro and across the United States, typically with one to fifty employees and no marketing department. What business owners ask us

Why is my business not showing up in ChatGPT?

Usually one of three mechanical causes. A setting at your hosting platform is blocking AI crawlers by name, often switched on by default without anyone choosing it. The words your buyers actually type were never published on your website, so there is nothing for a machine to match. Or everything findable about your business traces back to your business, with no independent source, which causes some systems to describe you as unverified.

Can AI find my business?

Possibly, and possibly only for some ways of asking. In one measured engagement the same company, same service and same city was returned by every AI product for one phrasing and by none of them for another. The free scan answers the first question: can a machine reach and read your site at all.

My competitor comes up in AI and I do not. Why?

Being returned by an AI system is not a ranking you can outbid. It depends on whether your site is readable by machines, whether it uses the words buyers use, and whether anything outside your own website confirms you exist. A competitor with a worse business can beat you on all three.

Is AI visibility the same as SEO?

They overlap and they are not the same. Traditional search optimization competes for a ranked position on a results page. AI visibility decides whether a system retrieves and describes your business at all when it writes an answer, often with no click involved. A site can be technically sound for Google and still be invisible to AI.

What does the free scan actually give me?

A door status verdict, open or closed, the specific flags that produced it, and what to change for each one. No score out of 100, because parts of this cannot be measured fairly on a numeric scale and a number that averages a real measurement with a guess is worse than no number.
